Born in Brooklyn NY to a private investigator dad and an art auctioneer mom. Started devouring monologue and acting books at 15, landed an agent from the yellow pages, and started making funny videos with a 15 pound camcorder. Got enough work as a day player in TV/film that an LA agent took an interest, which led to me Hollywood couch surfing through my early 20’s.

After landing some guest starring and supporting roles and running my own event DJ company (I MC’d over 300 bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings and frat parties in LA), I decided that teetering on bankruptcy wasn’t a good look. Discovered brand copywriting, which led to night classes and a 20+ year career writing tv commercials for some big ad agencies and in-house at some bigger tech brands.

Now, I’m in Portland, OR, where my remains — sorry — where I remain a copywriter/creative director for hire and now, decades later, an actor once again. My most important role I gave to myself, though, as a single dad to a kick-ass middle school girl. I love showing her that it’s never too late to go after your dreams.
