Another Jewish copywriter.
Born in Brooklyn NY to a private investigator dad and an art auctioneer mom, I devoured books on screenplays, Greek mythology, character archetypes, narrative structure. Landed an agent from the yellow pages, got enough work as a day player in TV/film that an LA agent took an interest, which led to me Hollywood couch surfing through my early 20’s. After booking some juicy roles and running my own event DJ company (MC’d over 300 bar and bat mitzvahs in LA), I was teetering on bankruptcy. And I’m not a man who likes to teeter.
Enter brand copywriting, which led to night classes at Book Shop LA and a 20+ year career writing fully integrated brand campaigns for some of the biggest ad agencies and tech companies in the country, nay! The universe. I have ascended into the halls of Valhalla and my robe pockets are filled with old :30’s and residual checks for nine cents. Just kidding, I’m in Portland, OR, where my remains — sorry — where I remain a girl dad, musician, actor, content creator and AI-savvy remote copy CD.
